What Happened this Week in History?
February 7, 1942:
Riverton adopts a six-day school week. All vacations are discontinued for the remainder of the year due to work.
February 8, 1917:
The installation of a telephone booth in the train depot is turned down by the superintendent,
saying it was not necessary as a public service.
February 9, 1920:
The night was so cold that a truck in Teton Auto Company (pictured) froze solid!
